why do my fry keep escaping!!?
my guppy had fry a few weeks ago in the breeder box i have a plastic 3 way one it cost the most and everyone told me they were the best and they keep the fry awaya for being eaten but i kept finding them in the tank with my other fish they all ended up eaten i think because i never seen them again. another one of my guppies is pregnant and i dont want the same thing to happen again any ideas?

Most commercial breeder boxes aren't that great. I always modify mine. It sounds like the holes in yours are way too big. You can glue some fibreglass flyscreen over the holes using a hot glue gun. This stops the fry from escaping yet still allows good water circulation. I've done it many times...

Breeding traps are useless at best - get some platic plants break off some leafs and let them float in the tank the fry will hide here (if you make a nice nest area the female will also go there to birth the fry) the guppy can birth 20+ so if you are only seeing one or two, you really have nothing to lose -
When I had breeding guppy I had a high success rate this way :)
