To immigrate to US, you must obtain immigrant visa.
To obtain immigrant visa, you must have a sponsor who has to file Petition for you. Only with approved petition, you can apply visa at US Embassy in your country. A sponsor can be your immediate family member (spouse, parent, child, or sibling) who is either US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. US Employer who is hiring you on permanent basis can be a sponsor as well.

Well of course you just have to be about 1 second old to live in America if you are born here;-)
Seriously, age 18 is the age of consent for all things in America except drinking alcohol which is 21. It is very difficult for Western Europeans to come to the US as it is for US citizens to live in Western Europe. However, why don't you think about coming to school here for a spell and see if you actually even like it here. It is much easier to get a student visa then a working visa.

Unaccompanied minors not admitted, so you need to be an adult to travel for so much as a week's vacation without mommy & daddy. Assuming you are not referring to sponsorship by an immediate blood relative for immigration (parent would bring baby/child), you need at least a baccalaureate degree plus 2 years experience, or masters degree, to qualify for employment visa. Puts you at least age 21-25.
Problem is lack of jobs in the US. Even if you hold all the necessary credentials - masters degree in a high-tech field - employers are reluctant to spend the vast time, money & hassle on visas to hire foreign workers when over 31 million Americans with almost every imaginable qualification are looking for work.

unless you have needed skills that are in critical shortage in America, and an employer who will apply for a visa for you, -- Western European immigrants aren't really welcome here.
it seems that our leftist comrades hearts only go out to poor, uneducated second and third world immigrants.
