Can you name a movie where the movie left big hole's in the plot?

for example

Minority Report

The Plot:

Tom Cruise is convicted of a murder he hasn't committed yet, by a team of psychics called "precogs."

The Hole:

The precogs? They don't work. At all. We're told they predict the future but nothing they predict ever happens. If they actually predicted the future properly, they'd predict the people getting arrested, not committing murders.

In the entire movie, the only precog prediction that actually comes true exactly as they said involves a kid losing a balloon. Chinese fortune cookies have a higher success rate than these guys.

Update:

there are a few more movies that I can think of just wanted your opinions.

Update 2:

Thanks everyone, it is always hard for me to pick with such great answers.

Oh as much as I love Minority Report- I do have to agree with you! Anyway, as well as pretty much all time travel films, The Sixth Sense. Bruce Willis' character doesn't know that he isn't a ghost, but all the ghosts around him do.

    Raiders of the Lost Ark

    1. How did Indy manage to climb into the Nazi submarine without being seen?

    2. How did Indy know not to look when the Ark was open?

    3. How could the Nazis have a strong military force in Egypt when there was a strong British force there during the 1930's

    The Cassandra Crossing

1000 people on that train? Really? with about 5-6 carriages?

  • Oh man! I SO agree with Minority Report, Logan! I mean...you're going to re-order a whole society because you found a small team of mutants? :/

I think sci-fi movies are most easily prone to "holes in plots" another movie that I enjoyed till (maybe after re-watching it the 4th time?) I noticed that in Batman Begins the whole point was to vaporize the whole city's water yeah? (also put the toxin in the water supply) Aren't we like 60% water? Shouldn't the humans be dying as well? :/ Hm.

INCEPTION:the effect of gravity should increase as they go each level deeper(this is revealed when at the first level of dreaming the car is under free fall and in second level the people are struggling with gravity).

however consider level 3rd and 4th ,at the time when the car was falling in the 1st level, the effect of gravity in 3rd level should hv been larger than in 2nd(just as its effect in 2nd was larger than in 1st) similarily it should hv been highest in 4th level.

i know its not a plot hole but still it should hv been considered.

"The Time Traveler's Wife"....a lot. But I guess any movie plot will be teeming with holes when the subject is about time travel, future events, etc.

Planet Terror - but Rodriguez did that on purpose, with his missing reel thing, its all finally calming down for a bit, but then it cuts back to fire, explosions and zombies every, i found it hilarious.
