epic anime battles or sad anime moments?

In berserk the moment where the Hawks are being killed off and Casca is being raped. Really the most epic moment in anime but I'm talking about the manga, haven't watched the anime yet. Has lots of really epic battles too.

The ending to Ano Hana Angel Beats was very sad.

The final battle between Byakuya and Ichigo was pretty epic from bleach.

The battle between Edward Elric and Greed was pretty epic from FMA

Eureka 7 when Gekko fights Charles and Ray. Sad and epic.

I disqualify myself from voting on any sad anime moments. I cry in every other anime I watch. However epic battles, have to go with Samurai Champloo... the animators did a great job making those battles intense and realistic.

Clannad is a sad anime

Black cat and dragonball series have great battles

Hee, if you wanna cry, then Clannad & Clannad: Afterstory is what you need. Almost guaranteed, some point in the show will get you teary, if not sobbing your heart out (seriously, this show has made grown men cry).

Gar moments:

-Any of the fight scenes in the Evangelion rebuil moves are ******* great. Top notch animation as well.

-Everything about TTGL

-Everything about Fist of the North Star

-Final fight scene between vincent and spike in the Cowboy Bebop movie

-Fight scene from Brittle Bullet eppisode of FLCL

-Boku no Pico

-Episode 2 of Code Geass was pretty gar

Ball your eyes out moments:

-Kaminas death in TTGL

-Asukas death in End of Evangelion

-All of the arcs in Kanon

-The end of Toradora! when ryuji says "I love you"

-The end of Pokémon

-All of everything ever in Clannad

-The end of FLCL when Haruko leaves (sad but not really ball your eyes out sad)

-Spikes death in bebop

-The end of Geass when Nunaly opens her eyes

-Grave of Fireflys, nuff said

-Any not mentioned romance anime by KyoAni
