JW's: Why is it "cool" to point out to Trinitarians that "God the Son" is nowhere to be found in scripture...?
But...
The word Jehovah, is nowhere to be found in the original Greek New Testament? Nor the original Hebrew text for that matter...Why the double standard?
If I'm understanding this correctly: Your Org. has lead you to believe that Trinitarians worship the entire trinity "equally?" We worship the Father in Spirit (HS) and in truth. You have been grossly mislead.
But what of the "double standard" of Jehovah into the Greek? What if I worship him as Abba Father: I'm I still a pagan in your religion?

You are correct that "Jehovah" is NOT in the Greek texts of the New Testament, yet is in the JW interpretation (NWT).
Likewise you will not find other cherished JW words, phrases or teachings in the Bible:
"Paradise earth"
"District overseer"
Nowhere does the Bible call celebrating birthdays "sin", nor are they forbidden.
Nowhere does the Bible teach that Jeus is Michael the Archangel, and Hebrews 1 is a clear teaching that Jesus was NOT an angel.
If pagan teachings are so bad, why does founder Pastor Russell have them on the marker near his grave?
If pagan teachings are so bad, why did founder Pastor Russell say that the ancient pyramids verified the scriptures?
If Satan is the "deceiver" and the father of all lies, why do JW teach that it is okay to deceive people? (Do a web search on "theocratic warfare")
If Jesus rebuked the public displays of righeous acts, why do JW's religiously count hours spent in door to door ministry, and praise the "pioneers"?
And most importantly, Where does the Bible give all religious authority to a "Governing Body" that can make total 180 degreee doctrine changes whenever they want, and never be held accountable for their doctrinal changes and failured prophecies? We can read about the requirements for deacons, and elders, but where are the Biblical requirements/responsibilites for this so called "governing body"?
If I read their material and question the teachings of my religious leaders, then I am deemed good, and humble. If I ask them to do the same, they would consider it a horrible, unthinkable thing? How can their position be Biblical, and mine evil?
Do you see the many double standards??

Trinitarians who have spent a little time and effort looking into the doctrine, already know that the expression "God the Son" is not to be found in the Bible. That does not mean that the Son is not part of the One Being who is God, however. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all three seperate persons, and all three subsist in the One Being who is God.
On page 5 of the 1 April 2012 public edition of the Watchtower is an article about Jesus. "Jesus also showed that he was separate from God." Trinitarians know the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three separate persons. The error in the Watchtower statement lies in the fact that Jesus showed he was separate from the Father. Yet Jehovah's Witnesses insist on setting up a straw man argument, misinterpreting the Trinity doctrine, so they can cut it down. They have no understanding of the eternal relationship between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit because they insist Jehovah created Jesus as Michael the archangel. Trinitarians would do well to familiarise themselves with the distorted Jehovah's Witness version of the Trinity so they can expose the error in their claims.
On the other hand, the fact that the name 'Jehovah' was unknown to all the prophets and saints, and the name 'Jehovah' nowhere appears in the Greek New Testament, is significant. The Divine Name, the Tetragrammaton, is made up of 4 Hebrew letters - YHWH - and the closest pronunciation we have is Yahweh. That fact was admitted in the foreword of their New World Translation when it first came out.
Perhaps Christians should be pointing out to Jehovah's Witnesses that nowhere in the Bible does it ever say that Jesus is Michael the archangel, and the name Jehovah is an invention by a Dominican Monk in the 13th century.

The Tetragrammaton did not include vowels. It had Hebrew consonants though, not English. Translating it into English gives us JHVH or YHWH. Ancient Hebrews knew the correct version of Hebrew vowels, but that died out with them. Why? Because Satan's work involves concealing everything that connects humans with the true God and towards anything else.
Likewise with trinity, it is part of Satan's efforts as well. At no time did the Jews have anything to do with any trinity worship going on with nations around them. It was plentiful with Egyptians and Babylonians. In fact, this is where such a doctrine began.

First, the "ideal hand" of God isn't touching on a actual region. it somewhat is a ordinary Hebrew idiom touching on the placement of authority. Hebrew even has a separate be conscious for the nicely suited hand: Yamin = ideal hand Yad = hand The call Benjamin (Ben Yamin) ability "son of the nicely suited hand." He wasn't named after a physique area, yet after his father's authority. What Stephen observed become Jesus status interior the placement of God's authority... via fact each and every of the fullness of God become in Jesus (Col. 2:9). So Stephen did no longer see 2 persons, yet one, Jesus. This corresponds with what the two Isaiah and John witnessed in heaven: One throne and One sitting on the throne. God is a Spirit (John 4:24). That one Spirit took on flesh for our redemption (2 Cor. 5:19).

No one said it was cool. It's just like what you are doing. Why is it cool to say Jehovah isn't in the Greek scriptures when it has been found there?
Scrolls have found it was in the Greek but used Phoenician letters. Jerome mentions Greek scrolls with the Hebrew letters included. Yes, the name Jehovah is not in the original Hebrew but consisted of the letters YHWH. So history has proven it to be there, man has chosen to ignore it. However, in no language is God the Son ever found. Not a double standard but honest evaluation.

IN YOUR copy of the Bible, how is Psalm 83:18 translated? The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures renders this verse: “That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.” A number of other Bible translations give similar renderings. However, many translations leave out the name Jehovah, replacing it with such titles as “Lord” or “Eternal.” What belongs in this verse? A title or the name Jehovah?
This verse speaks about a name. In the original Hebrew in which much of the Bible was written, a unique personal name appears here. It is spelled יהוה (YHWH) in Hebrew letters. In English, the common rendering of that name is “Jehovah.” Does that name occur in only one Bible verse? No. It appears in the original text of the Hebrew Scriptures nearly 7,000 times!

The original text wasn't written in english. If you follow the translation of the tetragrammaton (translated)YHWH from Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English the translation Jehovah is correct. The tetragrammaton is actually located in the original texts over 1000 times.
As far as the trinity goes, its false and has its roots in egyptian and babylonian mythology. Helping people to be free of a nonsensical belief like the trinity is "cool" as you state.
