Where do most Christians believe the 'Physical' resurrected Jesus lives?
I mean it's pretty basic Christian theology that Christ was physically resurrected, they believe in a physical resurrected state in Heaven? Where is it? It seems that only the Mormons have any awareness of it's locale.
I guess I should ask: Is it a physical place, a planet somewhere. Mostly Christians talk about heaven like it's 'cloud 9', floating around praising God (for all eternity I might add, that's a long time to float). Logically if we are going to be physically resurrected in like bodies... there must be a physical location in regards to Heaven.
Ummm... odd, so I take it many Christians believe Jesus is merely a spirit, even though scripture says that he is resurrected? He eventually shed his physical body and is now spirit?

The resurrected Lord Jesus did indeed appear to his disciples physically. But he was resurrected back to spirit life by his God and Father. (1 Corinthians 15:45; 1 Peter 3:18; Galatians 1:1) Back in the spirit realm, Jesus was now ontologically spirit, not human. Thus, when he appeared before his apostles as a resurrected being at Luke 24:36-43, he was now a materialization like angels had done prior. Indeed, he even had to inform them that he was not appearing as a spiritual manifestation, but as a material manifestation. As John describes, Jesus appeared—materialized—in a locked room on two separate occasions, the second for the benefit of Thomas, complete with his stigmata to drive the point home that he was resurrected. (John 20:19, 26, 27, 29) In a dynamic demonstration that he was living as a spirit, he ascended to the sky, where a cloud obscured him from view. (Acts 1:9) This was when he discarded his materialized body for the last time.

Regarding his stigmata, it is interesting and perhaps even noteworthy that neither his forehead wounds that would be in plain sight nor his feet wounds received any attention. Perhaps this is due to him being discrete with his stigmata and purposefully not displaying his forehead wounds. Thus it appears he had control over them and therefore was not appearing with his executed body that he sacrificed (Hebrews 10:10). - NeerpLv 79 years ago
The Bible is so vague on this topic that some Christians even think that Jesus was not physically resurrected, but exists as a spirit only. Most believe he was physically resurrected but not all of them believe that He retains that physical body. But where is he now? Does He live on a planet? An asteroid belt? A dust field? Some heavenly realm that we can't imagine?
No one knows. Mormons have a better understand about the physical nature of God and Jesus, but not even they know where heaven or other heavenly realms are.

Many Christians do have faith that the actual physique isn't required in heaven via fact, as you're saying, they suspect that heaven isn't a actual place. anticipate, in spite of the fact that, that Jesus is optimal, and that each and every physique of his movements have been and are perfect. He does not undertake an action that would desire to reason him to be imperfect interior the eyes of heaven. consequently, if he replaced into resurrected, that would desire to could be a perfect action, completely heavenly, and fully proper in heaven. He does not bypass away his physique in the back of via fact it may well be like unto an admission of imperfection, asserting that he did something that made him no longer able to pass into into heaven in this style of state. once you talk the resurrection, or the taking over of the physique as quickly as extra as a perfect action, and as one that's no longer basically proper, yet mandatory to pass into into heaven, it demands rethinking your view of heaven. What if heaven is a place that demands physicality?

He lives in a place that is referred to in the Bible as Sabbath. While the early text lists it as a day of creation, it has neither an evening or a morning. Other passages refer to this as a place, "they will not enter my Sabbath". The text points out that they had a day of rest (Sabbath) but this was not Gods Sabbath. The review of the nature of this place from Revelation leads one to believe that it is a place where time as we know it has no bearing or relevancy. The "Lamb that was Stricken" appears but the striking of the Lamb does not take place till later in the same writing.
Time as we know it is only an illusion created for the testing of a persons soul to see if it has what it takes to receive the power God waits to give those who pass.

It is perfectly clear in Scripture where He is:
" After he (Jesus) said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” "
Acts 1:9-11
" But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Christ[Messiah] would suffer. Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. "
Acts 3:18-21
" But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.”
At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul.
While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. "

Christians should believe what is written in the Bible:
(1 Peter 3:18) . . .Why, even Christ died once for all time concerning sins, a righteous [person] for unrighteous ones, that he might lead YOU to God, he being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the spirit.
(1 Timothy 3:16) . . .Indeed, the sacred secret of this godly devotion is admittedly great: ‘He was made manifest in flesh, was declared righteous in spirit, appeared to angels, was preached about among nations, was believed upon in [the] world, was received up in glory.’
Jesus wasn't physically resurrected according to God's word. He lives in heaven - the spirit realm.
Jesus said (John 17:17) . . .Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth.

The Mormons live in a make believe world where the leadership is always truthful.
Jesus is part of the trinity. He is in heaven where men don't practice polygamy. Mormons try and make evil into good. It does not work.

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

is your question 'where is heaven'? obviously, no one knows. only He who came from heaven knows and can tell where heaven is. but to me, for sure, heaven is another dimension/universe.. :)
