House full of sick people?
My mom and sister both have the common cold (at least to my knowledge). my sister is very inconsiderate with spreading germs and my mom is alright. how can i prevent being sick from both of them? I have work at 8AM the whole weekend and I know I won't be getting my sufficient 8 hour sleep for those shifts. Any extra precautions I can take?

Wear some bulky gloves. Infection usually always occurs when you have gotten the virus on your hands and then touch your face, mouth or food. I asked my general practitioner how he avoids getting sick during the cold and flu season and he told me he has just trained himself not to touch anything above his shoulders. The gloves should help you remember. If you do feel a tickle or sniffle, try some over the counter zinc lozenges, but avoid the zinc nose spray.
