Vegan Dating????????

I'm a recent Vegan for dietary purposes and I'm at an age where I would like to find someone who shares my lifestyle. I would find it difficult to date someone that isnt because of our date options for food and if it got serious I don't know if I could live with someone that eats completely different.

I don't like to throw my beliefs on others so turning a carniovre into vegan is not my goal. How do I date someone with this lifestyle? HELP!!

Thanks

You're not really a vegan if you wear leather, wool, etc. Dietary vegan is strict vegetarian. I just turned vegetarian and it is frustrating being married to someone who doesn't understand or share my new lifestyle. I think you are smart for finding someone who shares your diet. A quick google search for vegan dating websites led to veganpassion.com. I think you are better off going the online way since a lot of people meet that way to begin with and asking someone about their dietary preferences isn't generally the type of question to ask before going on a date!! But that way you will know ahead of time so you don't fall head over heels for someone only to find them eating a cheeseburger and milk shake the next day. If you want to meet people in person and are not down with the whole online dating thing, try hanging out at your local health food store where they sell a lot of veg products.

the comparable as Christians dating Jews, Muslims dating Jews or Christians or Whites dating Blacks. some human beings are tolerant of others ideals and cultures and a few are not. in case you as a Vegan, can appreciate different peoples eating behavior and not have a in superb condition or provide a lecture while your chum orders a burger and you order tofu, then you certainly ought to have not have been given any subject. the subject is maximum Vegans think of of Veganism as a faith and are incredibly fanatical approximately pushing their ideals on others.

    It's not THAT bad !

I'm a vegan, and my boyfriend is a meat and dairy eater.

Whenever I have to cook dinner, I do have to cook meat meals for him that can include dairy etc, even though meat is disgusting and repulses me and I don't enjoy cooking it, I still cook him his dinner when he comes home from work everyday.

I then make myself a seperate dinner that is Vegan.

It just means that all meals have to be seperate.

However, I have recently done vegan cake baking and even he has ate them and said he likes it.

But I still bake him his usual eggs and milk containing cakes.

I admit, restaurants can be tricky, choose a meal and switch it around, or order a bunch of 'starters'

And you don't have to throw all your beliefs at him, explain to him once why you are vegan and recommend he should do the same, once. And leave it up to him, he will see what you are doing, what your are eating, how you are feeling and perhaps take it up himself.

My partner did, but he only lasted a week being a vegetarian and then back to eating meat again.

Veganism is a lifestyle avoiding animal commodification.

The dietary aspect is called "strict vegetarianism".

I'm a vegan (full stop) of six years, and eat at meat and dairy-heavy, mainstream restaurants all the time- it's a non-issue.

Become a member of your state/country's vegetarian or vegan society and go along to their social outings.

try internet dating, like vegan communities or on fb but meet up with them in a public place to be safe. :)
