I saw this story in the NY Times and came here to see if anyone was talking about it. You are the only person to bring it up, and only two other people (neither of whom bothered to read) responded. To me, this is further proof that all the outrage at abuse cases in the Catholic Church is not about the abuse at all, but rather about an opportunity to bash the Catholic Church. People don't care about the children, or they would care about Jewish children, too.
