Who else is outraged by Obama's speech?

President Obama announces support for gay marriage in reversal of prior stance

05/09/2012 4:55 PM

Before I get started on this speech I would like to first point out that I have nothing against the gay community and I could care less if gay marriage is legalized. My frustration is focused on Obama. Listen to some quotes from Obama in this speech.

Obama: “I’ve stood on the side of broader equality for the LGBT community,”

* Broader equality for bi-sexuals? What rights do bi-sexual individuals want? Do they want to be able to marry a man AND a women? What about the T? Are rights actually taken away from trans-gender folk? I think Obama is a trans-liberal and a bi-socialist!

Obama: “and I’d hesitated on gay marriage in part because I thought civil unions would be sufficient”

* How coincidental is it that he had this epiphany 24 hours after the election results? What a convenient time in his presidency to finally have a change of heart. He can’t get votes from either sides of the party, republican or democrat so now he's changing targets to the gay community and illegal immigrants. I bet Obama could care less about the gay community; he’s only using this stance to gain votes. Now he’s got everybody excited in the gay community, like Ellen DeGeneres: “What a brave man!” he’s going to give us rights! Did he even say in that speech his motive was to give gay marriage rights, or did it sound like he was just voicing an opinion for votes? Do you think he could grant rights for gay marriage even if he tried to? It would be just another failed Obama promise, no doubt.

Obama: “when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained”

* Fighting on your behalf? Oh I’m sure all of the soldiers are saluting you especially after your proposal to cut healthcare benefits for active duty and retired US military. Go ahead and pat yourself on the back for the achievements of others like you always do. What a genuine American hero this man is.

There is a reason why his approval ratings are lower now then they have ever been. This guy will say one thing and then say the opposite the next day to support his campaign. Is it any surprise why he made all of those promises in 2008 that he never could deliver?

I really hope I'm not the only one with these thoughts.

If Biden hadn't forced his hand Obamas decision re gay marriage would still be "evolving". The really funny part of all this is that obama will do absolutely nothing to promote acceptance of gay marriage . He just stated his opinion and pushed the issue aside. Hes done with it.

He is just saying that he believes the gays are as stupid at the black and he can just make a statement and get that vote, but what he most likely does not understand is they were going to vote for him anyway. They don't need jobs the give B jobs.

I'm sorry to tell you that you are, in fact, the only person ever to have thought that Obama is a "trans-liberal and a bi-socialist!".

My issue with Barack Obama is that he can't wrap his mind around the fact that his policies ARE NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY!

The only thing that outrages me is that he has "Evolved his thinking" While Romney has "Flip-flopped"

its clear that he mispoke and now he has made his offical stance on gay marriage.
