Avatar: The Legend of Korra?
Hey I just want to know what you guys think of The Legend of Korra. I think its really good so far. Though the Amon thing worries me a bit lol. It still has a good story line and good characters. I'm liking all the episodes so far and hope it's a complete show, with a lot of episodes. I heard somewhere that this is only supposed to be a 12 episode show a while back, but I really hope not. Avatar was one of my favorite shows and Korra is a pretty cool show too. So yeah, what do you guys think of the show?

i think that they want to separate the show more from the last airbender, which they have done really well. also, they dont have to deal with so much back story like what happened to kataras mother, how appa got away, how aang got in the iceberg, so on and so forth. but i think that they did a good job of creating more speculations and questions that can be explained over a longer period of time, while having a faster pace than the last airbender did. i mean i loved the 1st series, but in some ways, they could have gone faster although they made an insane job on the story and development of the series. the only knock on it i have so far, but i think theyll get around to is being confined to only 2 places. i mean its been a good 6 episodes and the only places the story has taken place in is the north pole and republic city. i get that they dont have a flying bison in which they can travel wherever they want on command, i would think it would make it a lot more interesting for them to move from place to place. instead of having her learn all of the elements, she will only have to learn one, but the main focus will be more of mastering the spiritual aspect of being an avatar and learning how to use the avatar state.

I love it! Its darker than Avatar: The Last Airbender, and much more dramatic, but I love it. It has a great plot, an awesome enemy (who, if you think about it is kind of a communist but wants to get rid of bending for a good reason since the general bending population had been misusing their powers to bully nonbenders into getting what they want, and that's what's so anticlimatic of it. He's doing it for the right reason, but since we're living each episode through Korra, it automatically makes us hate him). The only thing I didn't like about the series was how started developing Mako's relationship with Korra so smoothly and then rushed it in the episode when Korra tells him how she feels. I hated that episode. They didn't do it well, they rushed the scenes, forced the face gestures and moved on way too quickly. Hopefully they will improve that and not draw the characters doing overly dramatic gestures way too fast and at the wrong times.

So far I think it's really good. Personally I usually hate anything out of Nick, but Avatar: The Last Airbender was something I enjoyed. Great storyline with great character structure, with a nice balance of action and a little drama. And I am really impressed with how they continued the story in The Legend of Korra. Can't wait to see how it all concludes.

I think it's pretty good so far . There's going to be 12 episodes this season and 14 episodes in the second season. I do wish it was longer but maybe the creators might add more to the show.

I think it's great, and an update on what you heard, I heard it was ORIGINALLY going to be that short but they extended it into like 36 episodes. Anyway, I have a theory. Do you remember how Aang was taught how to remove someone's bending by that giant turtle island thing? (Whatever the real name of it is.) Maybe it's a son of Aang's? Sure, he'd be really old under that mask but Tenzin was their only child who could airbend. Just a crazy possibility! Anyway, I think they should focus on bending more. They show her bending during matches but you really don't get to see the extent of her power. And yeah, Amon is scary. I didn't like the last people the Fire Ferrets had to fight in the match but I was still sad when they got their bending taken away!
I could go on but I won't.

I have only seen so much and the only thing I hate is how the place where they are living got so modern all of a sudden and the new villain has a goal to end bending? They should of did something different

I love it, has a great storyline and I love the time period and music. I do think they rush the story along a bit, one episode shes joining forces, next shes having boy problems. Other than that its a great show I hope it has a few seasons not jus one
