How early can I book an appointment at the visa application center for a Tier 4 Visa?

I am an international student and I will be applying for a Tier 4 Visa in Italy. I intend to attend the appointment in the beginning of August. I wonder if I can apply now to the date that is convenient for me or there is a time limit for booking the appointments?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Update:

Thank you Shortie for your answer. I thought that by mentioning Tier 4 visa, it was easy to understand that it's a visa for the UK.

For clearer information: I am a Moroccan who lives in Italy and I will be applying for a Tier 4 student Visa to the UK.

Update 2:

Maggie, Thanks a lot for your answer. I am a resident in Italy. This normally allows me to apply for a visa to the Uk from Italy. It is also more convenient for me than to apply from morocco.

Are you on a student visa in ITaly? If so, you cannot apply for a student visa to the UK from Italy but must follow the procedure for applying from Morocco.

This means that you can apply online through the Home Office Moroccan site but must attend your biometrics appointment in Morocco.

You can apply up to three months before you want to come to the UK, so you are probably just a little early to apply just yet.

Edit. Yes, you are right. But if you are resident as a student, this is considered a temporary visa, so you must apply through your own country's system. If you are there on a work visa or as a dependent of a work visa holder, then yes, you can apply from Italy.

Your question doesn't make it clear if you are in Italy applying to go to another country, or applying in another country to go to Italy. Either way, ask the embassy where you're making the application for the best answerl.
