Crazy neighbors? Help?
I just moved a week and a half ago.My husband and I had saved and were finally able to get a brick home in what seemed like good neighborhood.all has been well until last night when we heard two gunshots then two males yelling.we went to our porch and saw two teen males in the driveway across from us.They were cussing,yelling,and when they saw us yelled and asked did we want a beer?.We said nothing and listened,concerned that they had a weapon.They continued to yell at us,cussing.I called the sherriffs office.The first time the cops jsut stopped and asked them a question then drove away.At this point the boys start screaming at me that they will set my house on fire.Husband calls police again.Cops come back out and talk to us.Then talk to the boys.Cops come back and say they were not drunk and they admitted to yelling but denied the threat.I asked what I could do and they said file a report.I did. I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for how to deal with this. I refuse to be bullied by these punks.Thanks
I do have a gun. As for the guy who suggested I drink with two underage punks are you serious?? Good grief.

Locks, alarm, if you like dogs .. a big, mean one.
Make a police report if they threaten you again, they don't have to admit it for the police to take a report.
If they continue, document everything and you may eventually have to get a peace bond (restraining order) against them.
If they come onto your property, be very careful in using the gun. Yes, we do have all sorts of great laws, but the process is a long and expensive one.

Step into their shoes for a minute. You are doing what it is that you normally do drink beer and BS outside in your own driveway. Then the new strangers come out and start staring you down. At first you try to be nice and offer them a beer. These strangers look at you like you got a pecker growing out of your forehead. Then the strangers call the police on you. Who is the @55hole now? You should have went ahead and had a beer with them and then asked them to keep it down because you were trying to sleep. A lot of things can be resolved if you are friendly with others. You instead started a pissing contest when you are the outsider.

My neighbour's canines constantly escapes into the line My different neighbour's teen son constantly has rowdy events and that kinfolk oftentimes gets domicile @ 12. One owns a B&B We extensively utilized to have a neighbour that had alzheimers, so the alzheimers could make him do weird and wonderful stuff.

Find out about the gun laws in your county, get a shotgun, and blow the punks balls off like a boss. When the Sheriff shows up just say, "Yeah he said he was going to arson my house, so I blew his balls off." Well, at this point the punk is probably dead but, whatever.

I would keep your house locked and put up an alarm system on it. And you said you guys are saved? If you are, then I highly suggest you to pray. There's nothing better than Pray and ask God for protection, and He will provide some!
