I want to overclock to something near or around 5ghz, amd fx 6100?
Right now with my stock heat sink +fan it wont let me go past 3.6GHz becuase of temps. I've been looking at some closed loop liquid cooling systems, how much better are they at cooling? are they way better than even a good heat sink + fan ? Heres one ive got my eyes on, dont really want to spend much... i think £50 would be my budget. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&it...
any recommendations for air cooling and liquid cooling are welcome, I want atleast 4.5 ghz!

You can also go a cheaper route. If you are trying to hit 4-4.5 ghz this thing works great: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8... I don't think you'll want to hit 5 ghz. It's just way to unstable for what you have. The cooler master i posted is huge so make sure you have enough room in your case if that's what you decide.

Yes, to attempt 5.0Ghz you'll want liquid cooling.
But I think you can get around 4.3-4.5Ghz easily with a Cooler Master Hyper EVO.
