How do you sell your college textbooks?

Question

I tried to sell my textbooks on campus through the bookstore, the bookstore said they are not using those editions next semester. Any ideas of how to sell them? I heard about selling them through ebay, but I don't have a pay pal account so idk if that will be an issue, but someone at work said you could sell them through amazon? If you have any ideas, please let me know :) college textbooks are such a waste - you never get back what you paid smh - _ -

Also you can just rent from them in the future and never pay full price and not worry about selling them back or anything at the end. If those texts are not being used at your school for the next classes, you will not have much luck selling them at school. Ebay or Amazon is one way. Open a PayPal account. it is not hard to do, and you can close it any time. But you can also ask buyers to send you a check. that does not work as well because there are scam artists who cash the checks and don't send the merchandise. Or use the PayPal account of your parents or best friend.

There are also dealers who buy used textbooks, but they generally pay very little and sell the books at a big profit.

Put a notice up on a notice board near the rooms where you normally have classes. Younger students will want to buy them from you and if they're older editions they will be cheaper than buying them new. You could also sell them as a bundle. That way you don't have to pay delivery charges either.
