Semi transparent worms with black heads in fish bowl?

This morning I found some tiny worms with black heads crawling and floating in my beta fish's bowl. I immediately removed my fish, put him in another bowl, put the worms down the toilet and poured in bleach, and watched them wither and die... So are my problems over, or is there something else I need to do/know??? Thanks.

A beta bowl is a stagnant water recipe for disaster. These worms could have been mosquito larvae, or larvae of some other winged insect. Beta bowls are awful, stagnant environments. Even something as hardy as a beta should be kept in a proper tank with proper filtration.

Your problems will never be over as long as you are keeping your fish in a bowl. Stagnant, unfiltered water is a recipe for poor water quality

    LOL!

No, you just started your problems. Not panicking and not feeding the betta for 2 days would have likely solved the problem.

Now you need to recycle the teacup, sorry, bowl again
