I have a nice collection of cut glass glasses, some have become cloudy?

Because we have bee putting our glasses through the dish washer several have become cloudy. Can anyone help with a way to clear this please. My appreciation and ten points, for anybody that is the first to achieve this

    Try washing them without soap/detergent a few times.

    You can try cleaning with CLR. We always throw about 1/4 cup of vinegar in the dishwasher and use less soap. It seems to have cleared our glasses up.

    Sorry to say the damage is permanent. The aggressive nature of dishwasher detergent gradually etches glass. Hand wash good glass is all you can do.
