Okay, if when you first boot up the computer you should see a black screen with white text, if you can see this on the TV, but it cuts out once Windows is loaded then it's something software related. If this is what's happening then you probably need to lower the resolution on your computer to the native resolution on your TV and then try again. You can change the resolution by right clicking the desktop > screen resolution.
If you can't see that screen (POST) when it boots up, usually when this happens it's because it's plugged into the onboard video, plug it into one of the bottom video ports and not the top, you have a dedicated video card and when something like that is installed it disables the onboard, sort of "stock" video that comes with the motherboard.
You'll have video ports in this area of the case: http://www.legitreviews.com/images/reviews/1311/co...
You should have HDMi, DVI and VGA on that card so you should be all good with using the dedicated if that's the problem.
Source(s): I dunno how good it'll look on a 24" TV though, if it's not a nice Samsung display it'll probably be blurry. You could watch TV and movies but that's about it. - 9 years ago
Same thing happened to my friend's PS3. Try changing the resolution settings on your tv. If that doesn't work then try Resetting your tv fully.
