ok just signed papers on a car?
this car is really out of my league.its 100 more a month then what i am paying , its more car then i need.i cant sleep stressing . is there a way i can cancel the contract ?
Im pretty sure i can swing the extra 100. TBH its more car then I want.Im intimedated by it.I will just change to att internet and ditch cable.Also they had me sign papers , not date them and finacing quiet hasnt been set in stone.I really liked my HHR .A total luxary car is really not my style.maybe in a week ill come to love it.I looked upon Texas law, No cool off period for car purchases.I will however in the future,,stand my ground and say no..I kept saying no for 2 hours.Even last night stated i wanted my keys back and the kept on attacking me. so thinking I had the so called 3 days to cancel.OOPS
I will in the future become a delegate and make a resolution to include car purchases into the cool off 3 days ..buyers remorse. You can always try, but don't expect much in terms of cancelling the contract.
One thing you could do is swap your car for something else that may be the same price, but is a lot more fuel efficient. That way your extra $100 you pay in car payments can be offset by gas costs! SO net net, your monthly expenses could stay the same.
The concept that I'm trying to highlight here is the Buying Price is only one side of the story, the other one is Cost of Ownership. And by getting something that is cheaper to drive and own (fuel, depreciation, low maintenance, etc.) you can offset the additional expense.

So... you signed paperwork for a car you KNEW you could not afford. That was dumb.
You can't cancel the contract. If the dealer will let you out of the deal, its possible but up to them. See if you can find another, cheaper car at the dealer and offer to do a swap.
Other than that, you are an owner. Time to work some overtime, get a 2nd job, cut expenses, etc. Make all payments on time and see if you can trade out of the car in a couple years.
