Fun fact: Ronaldo vs "An average player"?

Xavi needed 11 attempts to score 2 direct free-kicks in the Liga this season, while Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo needed 51

Question: Who's the better free kick taker?

^Maybe that's why people think Ronalo is some amazing free kick taker? Even most RM fans say he's no where near the free kick takers of the ages.

PS. People just guess what i think, don't they? If you gace me a free kick anywhere on the field and told me it had to be scored fron the first kick, I'd get Ronaldo to take it ahead of Xavi any day of the week, just pointing our that Ronaldo isn't ALL THAT when it comes to free kicks.

    The words "this season" is very important. I am not saying Xavi is a bad freekick taker but Ronaldo is slightly better interms of power of the freekicks.Watch Some of the freekicks he took for Man United for example.

    Last season ronaldo's free kick taking ability has taken a pounding i agree.

    and who said Xavi is an average player. he is an extraordinary playmaker with great creativity and passing ability.Xavi defines spanish football the last 5 or 6 years.

    People are amazed with Ronaldo's free kicks, yet they don't realize that he needs like a hundred times to score.

    However, most of the free kicks Xavi took are short range free kicks (just outside the box). For Ronaldo its the other way round.

    One more fun fact: Cristiano Ronaldo has twice as many assists as the so called best player maker.
