Florida Temporary Tag?
I bought a car in Alabama and Im waiting for the title. I live in Florida, can I get a temporary tag until I get the title? If so, how much would it be?

Why didn't you receive the title when you bought the car?
If you are "Paid in Full" for the car from a private seller and did not receive the title you need to get it from them ASAP. You can return the car and get your money back...the title for the car is apart of the sale that the car is owned out right is an understood condition of the sale. In this case you should have the title.
If you bought the car from a dealer as them to send you another temp tag until the plates they were going to get you come in. Again a Paid in Full condition.
If you owe on the car the the dealer is to get your tag for you an depending on the law will retain the title as the lean holder.
Ultimately the County Tax Collector knows what paperwork you need for each condition.
