ARMY,AIRFORCE OR NAVY FOR A MARRIED PERSON?

Who gets more deployments? I am having a hard time deciding which one to join for several things. I am considering the Airforce, Army and Navy but I have found pros and cons for the three of them. The Airforce takes care of its people but I wouldn't like to be sitting most of my career on a desk....The Army you are guarantee to work in the job you signed up for but they do long deployments...The Navy is my favorite but I am not guaranteed to work in the job I signed up for plus many sailors have said that the Navy is not for someone who has a family.

Just so that you guys know if it's a bit of a help I am interested in a Linguistic and Photography careers with the military...

I would like to hear from you guys more pros and cons for each branch that could help me decide better which one is better for me.

Thanks!!

With linguistics... you have to rock you ASVAB and then rock the DLAB. And then depending upon whether you are land based or air based, you will either be sitting at a desk in a room wearing headphones, or sitting at a desk on an aircraft wearing headphones, and it is the same for all services. Except with Navy, you could be on a ship doing the same thing!

photography... out and about, taking pics, and then back to the office for uploading, editing, and preparing them for release. Again, same for all branches.

Don't stereotype the Air Force because of bad nick names. It all depends upon your career field. Some are desk jobs, some aren't. Hubby didn't have a desk until he had been in for over 15 years, when he took over running a section. Prior to that... he was out in the hanger everyday working on aircraft.

And deployments... varies based on career field. Some deploy constantly. Some rarely, and some just have lots of TDY's, but very few true deployments.
