What is the best broadleaf week killer?
I am the head custodian of a school and I have a large bed of of rocks in my grounds. The weeds sprout of that thing like they owned it. I have used a few different herbicides and none seem to work too well. I was wondering what all of you might think? I've tried weeding but with ground is so hard that I can't get the roots up. chemicals are the best route to take.

You will get answers saying Roundup but it's the active ingredient, glyphosate, which is the important factor. Glyphosate is available in other brands of weedkiller and is usually cheaper than Monsanto's Roundup. Glyphosate will kill all weeds completely but has no residual effect, so weed seeds will continue to germinate.

They have all but banned most herbicides including Agent Orange, that stuff has been found to be leaching into the water tables and THAT is some really some bad juju.
Either move the rocks and cut the weeds to ground level or cover them with black plastic and allow them to die that way.
