Why not? I got the terms changed on my student loan. Ended up paying it out over a longer time. Worked for me. Did that with my home mortgage as well.

I'm on Federal student loans right now, so I can get a Master's in Nursing degree. I don't think it's possible to get the terms of any fiduciary agreement changed.
It sucks because Obama sold out graduate students to get rid of subsidized loans for us. We can only get unsubsidized loans, which means the loan accrues interest while we're in school.
According to Democrats' logic, only "rich kids' families" are getting graduate-level educations, so it's best to throw grad students under the bus.

No, have you not heard the real news? The House wants to change the terms, they want to raise the interest. Where are you getting your info? Rush?

That is standard, if they do not want to pay back loans then they should work their way through school as we did.

Basically yes. They agree to one set of terms and then after they benefit decide they wants things changed to accommodate them.
Those more conservative students among us read the terms, made sure we agreed to said terms, and have been fulfilling our side of the agreement, even if we have to try and do so in the liberal recession.
