Sat question about international students?

So i just took the SAT and got a 1500 I didn't really prepare or anything and also English isn't my first language i moved to the US in the beginning of 5th grade so i always get destroyed in any kind of english whether reading or writing because i never had the elementary teaching my peers had. And i heard somewhere that if english is not your first language they add an extra 200 points when looking at your profile. Is this true because i didn't find anything.

I don't think they add 200 points; my boyfriend's first language is japanese and he didn't get any extra points even though he's not very good at English grammar.

I think colleges will take it into account, though. They know that English as a second language kids have a harder time with that section of the test for the most part.

It's taken into account, but it's not as if there's a default amount of point added to your score or anything like that. Usually for non-native speakers, the TOEFL test is more important than the SAT Reading and Writing sections, but I'm not too well-versed in that or how applicable it would be to you.
