Might makes Right. Prove me wrong?

My philosophy is always evolving,

I take in new ideas.

But in the terms of moral philosophy, I think I am stuck on this:

Might Makes Right.

Power controls.

And Morality is nothing more than a shared social idea, therefore able to be changed.

And if able to be changed, able to be controlled.

Other than those facts, everything else and (like other moral laws) are just powerless ideologies that crumble once confronted.

Is there any way that this is logically wrong?

Morality isn't real, and the aspects of power in our society control how we feel what is right and wrong?

Right and wrong are not simply a shared social idea. We can see this if we look at lower levels of existence. On the biological level, for example, touching a hot stove is wrong. It's a low-quality thing to do. This is obviously not just a shared idea. It's a shared idea because the reality of it is incontrovertible.

On a social level, murder is wrong. Why? Because it's the ultimate expression of inconsiderateness. And inconsiderateness is damaging to the human spirit just as a hot stove is to the human body. This, too, is incontrovertible. Our experience every day of our lives bears it out just as much as our experience with hot stoves and other hot things bears out that reality. More, actually, because we're exposed to inconsiderateness far more. So morality, which is considerateness for people, is a reality.

You can argue that social morality is not real, but it's as crazy as arguing that hot stoves being biologically immoral is not real. The fact that so many people believe it in our society nowadays is a reflection of how out of touch people are with reality and a reflection of how crazy our society is. There's so much inconsiderateness that we're swimming in it from the first day of our lives. Consequently we've shut ourselves down to shut out the pain of it, and we don't want to realize the reality of it. If we faced the reality of how inconsiderately we have been treated in our lives and how inconsiderately we treat others, the reality of the wrongness of it would be as obvious to us as the wrongness of touching hot stoves is.

Power is also controlled. It can be and often is taken from one faction by another solely on the basis of the relative popularity of their respective ideas, ideals or morals.

Morals are real because they have real effects, pragmatically. You can say the exact nature of morality can change, but this is not the same thing as saying that it's not real.

Morality is that clench of your stomach when you see someone else harmed because you don't want it done to you. You think too much, go with your gut and don't hurt others. Imposing ones morality with might doesn't silence that little gut clench.

Your first expression can only exist in relevance, and power can exist only in relation to something. We find more and more breakaway societys where complete individual expression of accountable individuals is the order of the day. Where such ideas cant exist.

Your premis is incorrect. You, as the asserter, must prove your hypothesis true, and invite sceptisism. How would I prove a wrong?

You're right. This is an age old question first debated by Socrates.
