My advice is for you to get started planning as you don't have a whole lot of time. Dresses can take 4 to 6 months to get in....just something for you to think about. Also you need to get your ceremony and reception place booked. Get yourself a good wedding planner book. It will help you get, and keep things organized. It will also have time line and reminders about things. When my daughter got engaged, we only had 5 months to plan her wedding, first thing we did was go to the book store and find a really good planner....it was a really big help and she took it with her everywhere. Find one that has pockets for business cards etc....
