What are the benefits of raising your child pagan?

Were you raised in a Pagan faith or are you raising your children in a Pagan faith?

Update:

I mean within a Pagan path, any Pagan path.

What ridiculousness to say there would be no benefits.

There are numberless benefits to raising a child in any religious path, there are also downfalls to every religious path. I did not ask this question to invite hatred. If you feel you must proselytize or be forever damned by a vengeful God, by all means proselytize; far be it for me to condemn someone to an eternity of hell-fire by not allowing them to do so. Just realize that you have not answered my question in even the remotest sense of the phrase.

Update 2:

Pedobear et. all: I am referring to Paganism as a set of religions. Please see the above for further details.

Update 3:

Contemporary paganism is INTENTIONALLY implied by all of the above statements. I do not intend to travel back through time to raise my children.

I'm guessing that a child raised Pagan would have a lot less guilt and confusion and a lot more self-esteem, esp regarding his or her sexuality and sense of self and would also be a lot more respectful about other people, other people's beliefs, and the environment in which he or she lives. I wasn't raised Pagan but I know kids who are being raised that way and they are very bright, well mannered and happy children who get to fully express their sense of magic and wonder in the world instead of being told to can it, like I was as a child.

When you say "pagan," do you mean Pagan as a collective term referring to the native religions of the Western world and the attempts to reintroduce them, or do you use it to mean "Non-Abrahamic"?

If it's the first, then it's the same benefits as any other religion. Social atmosphere, meeting psychological needs, placebo through prayer, etc.

if you look up the definition of pagan it means, non-christian or atheist or not christian/muslim/jewish or a member of a poly-theistic religion

but you're implying that pagans are all religious when ppl who have no religion can be referred to as a pagan

The wild ostrich wasn't given wisdom either regarding her young

Job 39:13 "The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, But are her wings and pinions like the kindly stork's?

    Job 39:14 For she leaves her eggs on the ground, And warms them in the dust;

Job 39:15 She forgets that a foot may crush them, Or that a wild beast may break them.

Job 39:16 She treats her young harshly, as though they were not hers; Her labor is in vain, without concern,

Job 39:17 Because God deprived her of wisdom, And did not endow her with understanding.
