Some eggs have hard bumps like warts on the tips.?
I have 2 types of layers some brown eggs and some green. Recently the green eggs have had hard bumps on the tips. That resemble warts, as hard as the shell. I've had them for over a year now and this has just recently appeared. What is it????

it's just extra calcium in the hen's system, it depends on what they're eating. It's not uncommon in free-range chickens.
