I caught my brother watching porn, advice?
I have really good ties with my brother. He's really optimistic and truthful to everyone. Most of the time he acts innocent and doesn't understand adult jokes.
Then, one day he let me use his iPod touch and I went to google on safari and all these search terms of "horny teen slut" and various terms came up on recent searches.
Personally, I'm horrified. I talked to him and he begged me to never tell Mom or Dad. We're really close so I've kept it until now away from our parents.
He is 11, in 5th grade. We both love the internet , and I looked up porn at 12 and got scolded by mom. I am 16 now. I just...need some advice.
Tell mom or keep quiet?

I know he's a bit young but that's the way it is nowadays. The Internet is a blessing on the one hand and a curse on the other. Lots of preteen boys are easily exposed to porn and they get the wrong message about women.
Here's my advice: don't mention it to your mom, but you will have to help him. No matter how many times he says he won't look at porn, he will. Sex is a strong impulse. See if you can find a documentary called, 'Teens Hooked on Porn" and watch it with him. It used to be available on YouTube but the poster took it down. Go to the library and ask a librarian for porn addiction and teens or preteens.
Remember, you're trying to correct wrong behavior and letting him get away with it won't help. As his sister and as a woman, it's your duty to help shape his view of women.
Good luck.

In case your brother is watching at porn mainly at this age it might lead to a few lovely severe neurological issues latter on. This isnt ok, teen boys that seem at porn will quite often boost critical persistent depression disorders, or even anger administration problems. Your brother is just not looking at porn on the grounds that he's a teenage boy(girls are interested in it to), don't feel that for a minute, he is looking at it when you consider that it is a very addictive factor and alas if anything isnt carried out about it now he'll eventually face one of the most equal issues other addicts face. There really isnt too much you are able to do proper now except to find anybody you can believe to speak to. Your brother deserves aid.

It's not so bad but you should keep quiet it's natural. Your mom probably won't understand and see it as a bad thing. They tend to over react because they see you as innocent and sex and all that means that you're growing up. Trust me just keep quiet

Only tell your mom if you really want to give him an emotional complex of some sort. No. Do not tell your mom. He is totally normal. So were you, by the way. Parents just scold about these sorts of things.

Keep quiet. Lets face it would you want your brother ratting you out because you stroke it to porn? The answer is obvious. He isn't doing anything that you arent doing so keep quiet. Somethings parents don't want or need to know.

Basically its not up to you i mean if it bothers your conscience then tell your parents, but it would have to come down for him to tell

keep quiet, for him. A man has his needs and your mom could lose faith in him. just tell him to be more careful next time.
