The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) - Brad Pitt as Jesse James http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443680/
La Vie en Rose (2007) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0450188/ - Marion Cotillard as Edith Piaf.
- Both portrayals are Excellent. I knew who Jesse James was prior but I didn't become familar with Edith Piaf until after watching the film.

Robert De Niro as Jake La Motta in Raging Bull
that's definitely my favorite based on the performance. I am a huge mafia fan (fan is a weird word for what I'm saying lol). but yeah I have always been thrilled by anything mafia related. read books, watched documentaries, and especially movies. so movies like Goodfellas, Casino, and Donnie Brasco also stand out
BQ- My expectations were through the roof, and I was let down. Nay. Clint hasn't had a great movie since Gran Torino
BQ2- 8
BQ3- I haven't seen Coach Carter since the theaters, like 8 years ago. I remember liking it though
BQ4- Unforgiven is his best. Dirty Harry is a Classic. The other three are underrated, great films.
BQ5- top 20

Malcolm X is great, I've seen it a few times now. I have to go with Kilmer as Jim Morrison in The Doors.
BQ: Have yet to see it, but want to.
BQ2: Haven't seen it but he is already my favorite black actor
BQ3: *Shrugs*
BQ4: Which of these five Clint Eastwood movies should i watch next?
I say Unforgiven. I have actually seen all 5 of those films and I loved that one the most. Escape from Alcatraz is another really good one.
BQ5: Where would you rank Clint Eastwood on your list of favorite directors? One of my faves for sure.

I have a few. My original answer was Pulp Fiction, as Steve Buscemi plays a Buddy Holly impersonator, but that doesn't really count, lol.
So I'll go with Goodfellas. There Will Be Blood and Raging Bull are up there too.
BQ: Nay, but on a side note, I loved Hereafter.
BQ2: 8
BQ3: n/a
BQ4: A Perfect World, one of my favorites of all-time.
BQ5: I don't have a list but I love him.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Capote. He was amazing.
Invictus, nay. Could been so much better.
Morgan Freeman was great. 9 out of 10.
Invictus
Dirty Harry
He's good but I like him better as an actor.

A biopic I watched fairly recently was pretty great: Bronson, starring Tom Hardy.
BQ: Nay
BQ2: All he really did was do a passable accent. Otherwise he wasn't acting.
BQ3: Neither
BQ4: Unforgiven. The best of the bunch, with Dirty Harry coming in second.
BQ5: Fairly down low. He can't compete with, say, Nolan or Lynch. Or Refn, for that matter.
