Help come up with a topic sentence? PLEASE!?

I have to write a paragraph about the novel, Shattered by Eric Walters.

Basically, what the paragraph is gonna talk about is, the relationship between Jacques and Ian, how Jacques influenced Ian to change.

Please read the answer this person has given. It basically tells you the entire story
