Can someone advise me about hacked email accounts?
someone I know alerted me to her email account having been hacked into and warned me not to open emails from her. So I deleted the warning email and of course hotmail opened the next email - the bogus one - automatically. I've changed the password and deleted every single sent, deleted, inbox, junk email from the account. However I am jobhunting at the moment so I am getting alerts from sites that have my cv on all the time. Do I need to stop all these?

no just don't open any emails from her, you will probably be able to turn off the automatic opening of her emails in your account settings. You will probably also be able to block her emails in settings as well. In the mean time tell your friend to change her password or get a new account.
