If the American CIvil war had never happened what would have been the effect on slavery?

Would the USA have been a country with slaves into the 1870's? The 1880's? The twentieth century?

Slavery would have ended because the rest of the United States and other countries involved in trading with the U.S. would have at minimal imposed economic sanctions on slave states. The South would have been forced to give up slavery if it wanted to survive.

There would be 3 large friendly Anglo-Saxon nations in North America instead of two nations now (US and Canada).

None of them would have slaves by the end of 19th century - not economically efficient and against the word of God.

There were many prominent southern politicians who were against slavery. They would not fight for slavery. But they fought against imperial ambitions of Mr.Lincoln.

They have been allowed to paintings and rather have a parcel of land and living house, the living house could have been very small yet a house purely a similar. for sure, this replaced dramatically while the colonists observed extra effectual threat to 'kick-off' the slave commerce and the blacks have been taken care of very harshly from that factor on, in certainty, as one white focused visitor to the South's plantations as quickly as remarked after he witnessed maximum of black human beings working such long hours interior the fields, 'might God allow you to once you're a *****, having to paintings for this crowd'!
