I need to find a laptop for college...?

Question

I'll be going to a small school, just a little bigger than my high school with somewhere around 2,500 students. I plan to study psychology or social work. I love The Sims 3 and I want to take them and all of my expansion packs with me, so I know I need a quality graphics card. And no Mac computer. We don't get along.
I'm the "tech savvy" one in the family. the computer I use right now is a desktop, a Dell XPS (###) (I'm not at home right now so I don't know exactly what is what... I can add more later tonight) . It runs Windows Vista and I've been using it through eighth grade.
Any suggestions or personal experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!

If you need a laptop that can run Sim3, then most of the newest computers should run it with not issues.

And if you are looking for better graphic details with the new games ( not only Sim 3) then go for laptops that came with advanced graphic card within it ( laptop with nvidea or AMD ATI graphic card ).

Any laptop with dual core CPU should run your Sim games very smooth.

As student you have budget for buying laptop. So make sure that it has also good space with other required features so it is good for you
