I had everything, or so I thought. It just isn't working. Can someone walk me through the installation process of GIMP and GAP so that I can get to the .gif making?

I'm writing a paper for my Religion class. I thought I had a good understanding of what was going on, but now I'm losing it. I know that this has been a long time coming (1948). Now I'm not sure of any of the conflicting information. Any information would be greatly appreciated though, try to keep it as neutral as possible.

I need to pick out a laptop for school.

I'm going to a small college where my professors will know me (and what I'm doing)

My budget is around $800

I plan to major in psychology or social work

I don't do any video editing or stuff like that.

It needs to be able to run iTunes and a YouTube video once in a while, that's all.

Ideally, I'd like it to be able to run the Sims 3.

My mom and I have been through the wringer with sales pitches telling me what I "need," I know enough about computers that they are clearly trying to rip me off.

If you need anymore information, let me know.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be going to a small school, just a little bigger than my high school with somewhere around 2,500 students. I plan to study psychology or social work. I love The Sims 3 and I want to take them and all of my expansion packs with me, so I know I need a quality graphics card. And no Mac computer. We don't get along.

I'm the "tech savvy" one in the family. the computer I use right now is a desktop, a Dell XPS (###) (I'm not at home right now so I don't know exactly what is what... I can add more later tonight) . It runs Windows Vista and I've been using it through eighth grade.

Any suggestions or personal experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!

I know it is from some piece of CC, I just can't figure out which. I was hoping that there might be a way to fix it without having to uninstall everything. It's super annoying and I haven't played in a while strictly because of that. I download from Mod The Sims and the Exchange. If any of you have had this, let me know how to fix it.

I have Comcast, Motorolla modem and a Netgear WNR2000v2 Router

I want to reset my router. I have tried literally everything on all the help sites.

Everything in our house can connect to the internet but my computer with a Belkin USB adapter.

My computer can find the net work but it won't join. It fails "due to an unknown reason"

Thus, I think we need to reset our network.

We switched rooms, so I jused to have the router and modem and my sister had the USB adapter. Could that be part of the problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need more info, let me know. Please check back on this question as I am going to bed soon, but I will add more Info if necessary.

I thought the username and password were the name of the wireless connection and security code. Help me out please!

I just noticed it. the skin there looks pinker than other places. He's a pretty nervous bunny and even trying to clean his cage scares him.He'll lose lots of hair at one time. But it's never been a bald spot. What should I do?

It's not the little thing by the port and it isn't the bing blue thing up front. On the right side, the back almost curls around. There is a hinge, but I can't seem to unscrew it

I think my internet is nuts.

We have two computers and the Internet works on those. And it works on my iPhone 4. It doesn't work on the net book and the two other iPhone 4s in the house.

Any ideas?
