However, I would like to point out that many people view the Bible as being sexist. Why? Among other things in the Bible, the chiefest would be the misconception that the Bible blames the fall of man on Woman (Eve). This is NOT what the Bible says.

In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul, does mention that Woman was deceived first, but he never says that it was her fault that all mankind fell. In fact, due to the idea that the man was the head of the house, Woman was absolved of any potential responsibility for the fall because Adam, not Woman, was in charge. By the way, I use Woman rather than Eve because Adam named Woman "Eve" AFTER the fall. So, I use the name God gave her before the fall.

Now, looking at the Old Testament, only 1 person blames Woman. That person was Adam, not God. For all the wrong that Woman did, all that was really done was that the birthing pangs were to be increased. I don't think that mothers today would disagree with this notion. How many women think labor is easy and could afford to be more difficult? Yeah, my wife agrees with you ladies.

If you read Genesis 3, Adam, according to God, is the one punished for everything and all the world is cursed because of Adam. If you look at the text closely enough, Woman had the brain on her to at least argue with the Serpent, before being fooled. Adam just took the fruit from Woman without a second thought... So, contextually, I don't really see how the fall is Eve's fault.

Even in the words of Jesus, He claimed that by 1 man (Adam, not Eve) sin entered the world... and that by 1 man (Jesus) the world would be saved from the power of sin.
