The people I've met who are like this, are Cancers and Pisces or have major placements (such as Moon or Venus) in these signs.

They're usually very sensitive people who react badly to harsh opinions and judgemental people. Pisces is notorious for addictive behaviour, more often than not, "medicating" their anxiety or depression with drugs or alcohol.

I actually have moon in Cancer and venus in Pisces, i've always been sensitive and have had several episodes of depression but most days I'm able to hide it. Although it's not so much what other people think, just certain insecurities and anxieties that eat away. If I was presented the opportunity to self medicate with alcohol, I wouldn't. Anxieties would still be present, just foggy and dealt with in the short term.

Although some excellent comedians have had depression and it has become their way of coping it. I think it's an extremely healthy way to deal with the matter. I'm the "funny one" in my group of friends and have always wanted to be funnier than other people as it makes me feel a lot bette as it's a positive thing that benefits all people involved.

I will admit I'm a Taurus with a rising in Virgo I have suffered from social anxiety since I was 13 but I'm not sarcastic or insulting to anyone I'm very laid back and friendly. But if I feel someone is sarcastic or insulting towards me for no reason I start avoiding that person I really hate sarcastic people with a passion I think they are so unnecessary to the world.
