Can I have a proper meal 3 days after a tooth extraction?

My friends invited me out to lunch on Sunday and I had my tooth out today at about 3..

would it be safe for me to have a real meal by then or should I just have ice-cream and soup while I'm out?

normally you can eat normal food in the 2nd day of the extraction if proper healing took place! so if your wound seems to be normal then you can safely go for that meal.

    enjoy the meal :D

For me yes... sometimes it depends on your mouth if it stills hurts but im sure that you can eat a proper meal by then....
