Which golf clubs are better? Callaway X22 or Diablo (irons)?
I have X22s now, but need them re-gripped. I also have a Diablo driver which I love. Would I be taking a step down if I got the Diablo irons? Help! Thanks....
I am only looking at buying new because I can get pretty good trade on the X22s and the Diablo price is pretty good. My net cost is looking to be about $150. I think that's worth thinking about over re-gripping. Who doesn't like new clubs??
Kristopher, why did you even bother typing that?

It is true that it depends on your handicap but both are solid irons. Callaway is a great Iron company so either one you choose your game will most likely improve but from my experience, the X-series irons have OK feel and a large sweet spot so its easy to hit a decent shot dead straight but they don't allow you to play the ball as much. By play the ball I mean hit a fade or a draw. The Diablos have much better feel and you can play the ball a lot better than with the X-series. On the other hand, the diablos have a smaller sweet spot so its probably a little bit easier to accidentally hit a slice. This is just based on my experiences with both sets of clubs

depends on your handicap. X22 are for better golfers, Diablo are game improvement irons. If you are a 90-100 golfer, I'd try the diablo's or Adams A4, A7, or A12.

Niether both stink. Ping irons are the most reliable in the game. if u are going to waste ur money go with x22.

I wouldn't suggest getting Diablo irons i got them and I've had them for almost a year and I'm still trying to hit them solid (i practice everyday) but, it's whatever works for you.

I prefer callaway. It has better grip. Or you can just go to Golf Smith and ask for them to fit you with irons or a set or ask for a custom set of irons.

You don't need to change, just get your clubs re-gripped. It might be even more expensive if you decide to buy new clubs.
