Obama's first Official speech (in the U.S.) as President (his FIRST speech as President was delivered via Al Jazeera) outlined what it would take to KILL-OFF the U.S. vs what we would have to do to PREVENT ending America.

Since that time, EVERYTHING Obama has demanded is something from the first category.

He DID focus on the economy - he focused on eliminating it.

Considering Obama spent 6 trillion so far I would say unemployment should be at 2-4%.

But creating a socialist society in The US is Obama's only priority....just in case anyone has not been paying attention.

Liberals are fiscal illiterates and cannot fathom you cannot always fix things by putting a band-aid on it. Sometimes it has to be torn down to the foundation 1st, then rebuilt and restructured from the ground up, like Romney did with Olympics and bankrupt corporations Bain took over.

My favorite is when he carps on and on about the eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil Republican congress (see the comment below mine!), yet he had a filibuster-proof majority for TWO YEARS.

The icing on this cake? When the SCOTUS rules that the Obamacare mandate is unconstitutional. Oh happy day.

The health care plan was a business decision to increase productivity at the workplace by getting everyone insured, enable people to remain insured and change jobs, for students to be covered, and no one to be rejected for insurance due to current health status, also it will save the government money that goes to cover uninsured people treated at the ER. The cost of health care was stopping millions of people from buying insurance and putting the burden onto insured customers.

Obama did nothing for the economy. Bush was growing 800,000 jobs per month, until Obama took office. We've been losing 500,000 jobs a month since Obama took office.

Even worse, when Obama puts focus on the economy he tends to blow money and trash things.

Here's why Obama will get re-elected:

1. Killed Osama bin Laden who had taken America hostage in 2001

2. Saved America from going into a deep depression.

3. Saved the American auto industry and its hundreds of thousands of jobs from disappearing by preventing Chrysler and GM from going bankrupt.

4. Overturned Bush Administration restrictions on federal funding for stem cell research.

5. The Matthew Shepard Act, expands hate crime definitions to include gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability.

6. Has created over 2 million private sector jobs in the last 14 months and 4 Million jobs added since in office

7. The Credit Card Bill of Rights, outlaws hidden fees and deceptive lending practices from credit card companies.

8. The Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act, allows gay soldiers to serve openly in the United States military.

9. Student loan reform, significantly expands access to affordable government loans and Pell Grants for college.

10. The Affordable Care Act, will establish universal health care for the first time in the history of the United States.

11. New START Treaty, will reduce by half the nuclear missile stockpiles of Russia and the United States.

12. Overturned Bush Administration “global gag rule,” allows American aid to international health organizations who provide family planning, including abortion counseling.

13. The Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Act, dramatically expands federal efforts into finding a cure for paralysis, as well as increasing support for care and rehabilitation.

14. Removed all combat troops from Iraq.

15. Appointed Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court, the first Latina to ever serve on the bench.

16. Children's Health Insurance Reauthorization Act, provides health care to 11 million children who live in poverty.

17. The Food Safety Modernization Act, for the first time gives the FDA a mandate to prevent, rather than simply respond to, contamination of the food supply.

I am very happy about Affordable HealthCare Reform bill being passed - waaaay overdue; and if Obama hadn't taken those early drastic steps to bail out failing companies, this economy would be in the sh*thole, and we would all be scrambling for our English -> Mandarin dictionaries.
