Covering hair when visiting Islamic Centre?

I am taking my Cub Scouts to visit the Islamic Centre in our city. I am wondering if I would need to cover my hair when we go? Also, if my one female Cub Scout (aged 8) would need to as well? I obviously don't want to offend anybody and want to follow the rules of their religion, but don't want to cover my hair unless I need to. Thanks for any help!

Update:

The UK, but not sure why that would make a difference?

I don't know about in an Islamic center when you consider that I are living in a Muslim nation, so we do not need them right here. As for in a mosque, sure you have to quilt your head and put on long sleeves and pants. Best thing that may be uncovered is face, hands and toes. Find out how to greet humans while you go inside of, say: Al Salam alaykom, or Salam, after which introduce yourself so they understand you are no longer Muslim and are all for learning Islam. Your earring (1 on earlobe) does not need to be removed. All different piercings do. You can not g into the men's component to the mosque as a lady (and vice-versa) desire you the high-quality experience :)

Whenever we have visited such establishments, a scarf has always been made available for my wife to use.

I think covering the girls hair is the polite thing to do.

When in Rome and all that.
