Joining the KKK and all that jazz?

I am just curious but I saw this funny video online about a sketch were a successful white Christian male called up a member of the KKK and asked them some thought provoking questions. It was all made to portray how ludicrous the KKK is and everything but it got me wondering, how "white" do you have to be to join the KKK.

Never being discriminated before in my life the thought of a group of people not wanting me to join them got me thinking. This is because even though I was born in Australia, my father and mother are from Mexico and Portugal, would this be enough for me to be one of the people they hate?

Obviously I am not stupid enough to join them, God blessed me with a few brain cells to guide me to that conclusion, but yeah I guess I am just curious.

mmm anyway guess I can put my curious cat back in the bag. Thanks for the info, yeah I guess I wouldn't be first on their mailing list but I could probably weasel my way out of trouble if they (God forbid) ever came to power (ugh even the though makes me feel sick).

    My suggestion is to be careful joining any Group any place... Let God and your conscience be your guide and you will do fine.

    The KKK is a bit more amorphous than they were in their hay-day.

    They used to be a more defined group, now there are many types of haters that are sort of connected to that group.

    The straight up KKK probably wouldn't hate you. But many of their sister organizations would for reasons ranging from your non-European heritage, to your immigrant status. I don't know your religion but that could be a reason the real KKK might hate you. Based on your heritage I'm guessing you are Christian though

    humorous I have been given purely the comparable one this morning, approximately McCain.     That would be something only Democrats could help you with. Robert "KKK" Byrd is deceased but I'm sure there are still plenty around.
