Wall flower is similar.
Basically the girl doesn't act like a 'normal' girl so four boys are ordered by the girl's aunt (also the inn keeper) to try and make her more of a lady.
What's in it for them? free rent duh!
I thought she was pretty from the start but she was really pretty in the end. There's a valuable lesson or more, like:
"You can change someones appearance but not their personality".
Or
"You can't change someone unless they want to be changed".
Well those are the ones i picked up.
