Good on-line source for spices?

I ordered a few cans of smoky paprika a few years ago from an amazon kitchen vendor and I am getting low. I might also want to buy some Vanilla bean and a few others that my MegaMart does not carry.

What are the good on-line sites for spices? My needs are not exotic, but I just want a site that has a good site, good selection, good prices, etc.

The two suppliers I have used and liked are Spice Bouquet and Penzey's.

I use www.bulkfoods.com. They have tons of spices and herbs among other things. You can get them in small amounts for the home or by the pound for commercial cooking. The quality is very good as are the prices. Shipping has always been great. And that site isn't just for spices, they have tons of other food products too, including additives like MSG and citric acid. Although why we'd need those at home is beyond me.

Definitely Penzey's - I've shopped both online and over the phone and by mail with this Wisconsin spice "headquarters" and their catalog lists everything in the world, including salt-free mixed seasonings I couldn't run my kitchen without! Go for them every time. p.s. their stuff is always fresh [important for parsley flakes and such] and the prices are realistic, i.e. real cooks use Penzey's, not just Yuppie Wannabe types. Their catalog also has divine recipes - seasonally slanted and always workable in an average non-millionaire's kitchen.

I have two sources that I order from. Spice Sage offers free shipping. Faeries Finest has wonderful extracts and spices. Their Madagascar Vanilla is the very best. Both have vanilla beans. Prices at both sites are very reasonable.

For a variety of spices, Penzeys:

http://www.penzeys.com/ (can buy smaller to larger amounts too... larger amts cheaper of course, if you have a friend to share in the cost, etc)

(....they also have local stores in some cities)

For vanilla pods, you might want to check out sites that do mostly only those, for example:

    I LOVE this site http://www.myspicesage.com/

They have a plethora of spices and it's my go-to site when I need something special that can't be found elsewhere.

They even carry powdered kaffir lime leaves!
