Why is it that I am the weird one for not believing in a invisible man in the sky?

Many religions believe God is formless, without gender. You aren't weird, but you're bias for calling God an "invisible man in the sky" when many monotheistic religions don't believe this.

Republicans can pick to have faith in in spite of mumbo jumbo they like ... as long as they do no longer stress their ideals on others. regrettably for this reason they are maximum un'lifelike' ... they are the 1st to criticize and impinge on the rights of others to flow with freely too ... for Republicans it has continually been the case of 'do what I say' ... no longer ... 'do what I do'. As on your sub question, no longer all non secular human beings, Christians or others, refute medical concept. Stephen Hawking has made some eminently smart statements on the dating between technological understanding and Christianity. case in point, "that's confusing to talk the initiating of the universe with out pointing out the assumption of God. My artwork on the beginning of the universe is on the borderline between technological understanding and faith, yet i attempt to stay on the medical area of the border. that's extremely accessible that God acts in approaches that may not be able to be defined with the help of medical regulations." while asked with the help of a reporter whether he believed that technological understanding and Christianity have been competing international perspectives, Hawking replied cleverly "Then Newton does no longer have got here across the regulation of gravity." Dr. Hawking grew to become into nicely conscious that Newton had solid non secular convictions.

Not weird you just don't believe, in order to believe in a God in America you gotta take out somthing that distracts from it a example Santa. Every kid believes in Santa but every kid grows up to realize Santa isn't real in fact Santa mixed up gets Satan. So all props to those who orchestrated that, but you can't have a imaginary character vs a imaginary God or else they both die together in your mind. Unless you were born and raised believing in a higher source or had some miracle out of nowhere happen to you like a helpless one you really won't be able to believe in a God. Pure religious fact, many people who pray before having somthing good happen gets their faith increased but those who don't believe but still have good thinks happen to them dont give a crap about a God.

You aren't the weird one. More and more people are becoming more knowledgable about created religion. The reason you feel like you are the weird one is because those of us who know its BS don't feel the need to beat it into others heads or save anyone from their own personal beliefs. We simply don't care if they want to go down the path to Jesusland.

Isn't that the strangest situation ever?

You act sane and people are surprised and want you to be delusional.

    It's a very curious affair.
