Do you have any experience of ear plugs for sleep time?

My husbands 10-15 early morning alarms are driving me absolutely mad. I cannot take it anymore.

Im thinking of getting some ear plugs but just want to know if anyone has tried and found some really good ones?

Also, does it help and whats the danger with wearing them?

I would appreciate some guidance.,

Thankyou in advance.

As a shift worker doing occasional night shifts (seeping during the day) I've used ear plugs on and off for years.

They work for me but that's when used to reduce to volume of every day ambient noise outside. Not to block out the loud shrill noise of an alarm clock right next to me.

My favourite and most comfortable and effective ones also happen to be the most expensive I've tried, no surprises there!

They are Boots own brand silicone ear plugs, which are basically a lump of semi solid goo you block your ear canals with. downside they are slightly tacky to the touch so pick up little bits of dust and bed linen fibres easily.
