Windows 8 Release Preview on Virtualbox...?
Ok, so I wanted to try out the Windows 8 Release Preview on Oracle Virtualbox. My computer specs are OK, I have hardware assisted virtualization turned on and everything else that Windows 8 needs. I set up everything, but everytime I try to run Windows 8 on Virtualbox, I get stuck on the black screen with the word Windows. It never progresses past that black screen no matter how long I wait. What do I have to do to get Windows 8 to run?

Well, I've been trying to do the same for a while and just found out so i hope this helps you too:
1) Right Click on the Windows 8 release preview when you start Virtualbox and click settings.
2) In the settings, go to System and the to 'Processor' under System and enable PAE/NX
3) Go to Display and turn on 3D and 2D acceleration.
If your computer has Virtual Technology (enabled) and NX (No eXecute) turned on, it should work.
