unless you need to put it in a envalope the pro. the air doesnt even have a cd drive so if your buying software on a disk then youl need the pro. the air only cost more because its small is has solidstate hard drive whitch cost more, its not better just smaller and its cost lots to make thngs small.

Pro, the air is just to show you have enough money to put your laptop in an envelope!
