Name something that you view as a "BIG issue", but doesn't get enough media coverage?

climate change- it is one of the biggest issues facing us today, but it's become so politicized, there is very little quality discussion about it

Having had a profession within the media myself, i will be able to say it is very distinctive and even more influenced than it was several years ago. One of the most misinformation or evidently distorted viewpoints I hear at present are borderline sensationalized tabloid gossip. Do not be fooled, turning on CNN or many other information stations is like watching at a Photoshop'd picture within the countrywide Enquirer. You're seeing what they want you to peer; now not what's truly there. I received out just a few years in the past for the same factor I see even more magnified today: corporate curiosity in controlling what the public hears, knows and thinks.

A Constitutionally LIMITED government. When was the last time ANY member of the media asked a member of Congress to state the Constitutional authority for ANY legislation, aside from obama-no-care? Too many people benefit from unconstitutional, socialist programs so very few ever bother to ask where the authority (or the money) is for those programs.

Firstly, a good question!

Fukushima is one.... the media dropped it like a hot potato once the severity of the situation was realised.

Overpopulation is another issue everyone seems afraid to talk about, I guess because most of us think no one is entitled to tell us how we should breed.

Illegal immigration and infectious disease.

London has become the tuberculosis capital of W. Euro bc of immigration.

1/2 its cases are in immigrants from Africa & south Asia.

Extremely extensively drug resistant TB, XXDR TB, has been imported into the US.

Almost always the only hope for a cure is surgical removal of a lung or part of a lung.

A Peruvian immigrant w/ XXDR TB was successfully treated for abt 18 mos in isolation in a FL hospital.

The cost to FL taxpayers was $500,000.

The Police State that exists, but it does get enough coverage, but it supports the Police State.

Some news networks should actually question much of what the Police state does.

Instead they justify it and criminalize anyone, just as the police do, that are caught up in the process.

The biggest issue is that for the first time in our country's history..a sitting president has ordered the execution of a US citizen without a trial...then carried out this sentence...and no one blinked an eye..

What people don't realize is that NOW in America..all the president has to do is declare you a terrorist ( no evidence has to be presented to anyone) and then he can kill you..

the Bill of rights has been set aside and no one cares

A President that gets a free pass with the media and doesn't have to answer to the American people.

How about our constitutional rights being slowly taken away from the president starting from the patriot act to the national defense authorization act to the censoring of the internet and television and lets not forget the almighty second amendment. Im pretty sure its safe to say we americans LOVE our guns with a passion and Obama is taking the guns away and making it harder and harder to purchase guns with all the restrictions and is taking guns away from law abiding citizens and letting the bad guys keep theres

1. Unsustainable Debt and Entitlements: Soc Security, Medicare, Medicaid

2. Awful Tax System: Flat Tax - eliminate IRS mess, tax lawyers, tax attorneys, pay to play,

Effects on drugs. Kids get into it and get screwed into huge medical issues... Just becaus ether buddy pressured them into it.

Pills side effect: commercials say this includes the following warnings death, system failures etc. if you take this pill. It's ridiculous...

Getting an abortion: people could be killing the future president?! Basically you never know!
